Jon Rekedal is the Community Synagogue of Rye Clergy Assistant. Jon and his wife Sarah and their two children, Caleb and Dahlia live in Dobbs Ferry, NY. A native of Monmouth County, NJ, Jon and his family moved to Westchester in 2015 after 15 years living in Manhattan. Sarah is Infection Control Specialist at the New York Presbyterian Health System. Jon enjoys bluegrass music and coaching softball. Jon had his Bar Mitzvah at Monmouth Reform Temple in Tinton Falls, NJ, where the Rabbi was Sally Priesand, the first female Rabbi in America. Jon has a bachelor’s degree in History from University of Rochester, and he enjoys reading and studying 20th century history.
