Lifelong Learning - Religious Education

K-12

The goal of our religious school is to stimulate and inspire our children with a positive attitude toward Judaism and the traditions and ideals of the Reform movement.

In our school we give our students an opportunity to learn and to ask questions. We provide enriching and experiential programs that foster the development of a strong Jewish identity.

The religious school is for students from ages five to eighteen. Laurie Landes, the Educational Director, works closely with Rabbi Gropper and the Religious School Board. The religious school has a staff of highly trained professional teachers as well as enrichment specialists in art, drama, music, movement and dance.

The curriculum includes Jewish history, Israel, Hebrew language, holidays, culture and tradition, values and ethics. Rounding out the religious school experience are retreats, Maccabean games, special mitzvah projects, and family education programming.

Each Saturday morning Rabbi Gropper and Cantor Mutlu conduct special youth services.
