Sisterhood provides a collective identity for ALL women of our congregation: married, single, young, not-so-young, to provide an outlet for our creative energy, talent and leadership potential. We band together in friendship to provide programs that benefit the Temple and the Community--for social action, for study, for practical growth as individuals so that we may fulfill our potential as a person and as a Jewish woman. Our strengths can be seen in our Judaica Shop, support programs on health and aging issues, gifts for the Bar/Bat Mitzvah, production of the Community Synagogue roster, inter-faith meetings, Shabbat service, tag sale, cookbook, Mishloach Manot Purim bags, Passover Seder, Selichot service and much more behind-the-scenes support for our Synagogue.
