The Hesed Committee reaches out to all members to help and console in times of sorrow or need and congratulate in times of joy. In doing so, and in sharing the mitzvah of giving with as many congregants as we can, we strive always to create a more loving, resourceful and empowered congregation.

Community Synagogue is a lively center of Jewish activity. But it can also be a source of rich community life. Synagogue is a natural helping network…a source of comfort and caring when members face life’s crises.
